A Place We call Home!

About one year ago we moved here to Burley.  We lived in an apartment hooked to a business, so you can imagine how that was working out.  So, all this summer we were looking for some land to be able to build our home on.  Then, we thought it would be nice to buy a manufactuered home to put on our land so we can save money until we could build.  Well, none of these ideas were working out.  So, I finally called a realtor and had her take me around to some smaller homes, thinking we would just start out small once again and then save money for our new home.  Again, nothing worked out to fit our family.  Then the realtor suggested that we try to find a manufactuered home that was already on some land, so we found a few to look at.  Well, we finally found the place that we fell in love with.  Not for the fact that is was a gorgeous home, but that we saw the potiential and the possiblitiy of building our dream home on some day , which is what we fell in love with.  So we worked hard to figure everything out to get this home, but by a great miracle we were able to do so.  We got the manufactured home, a huge shed, and 5 1/2" acres of land (one plus side to living in Idaho).  Anyways, so we love our home and are so excited to have found it when we did.  The trees are so beautiful and it's so peaceful.  We live on a dead end street, so no traffic with cars or people, just pure quietness (oh, wait, I still have my kids running around)lol.
Kambri loves it here, she has friends that live right down the street.  It's such a great neighborhood and ward.  We've had so many people stop by to welcome us, what a great place to live.

So, after we purchased the home we painted the walls (thanks Shelby for helping me), the cabinets, got new carpet, and Brett tiled the kitchen and bathroom.  After doing all that we finally moved in August.   After a few weeks we found that we needed a little more room for my business (as it was all in my bedroom).  Wasn't really working out.  So, we decided to remodel the garage, and turn about 3/4 of it into a big room.  So, again we were rennovating.  Brett was out there every night for a couple of weeks, then we hired in for the drywall, etc.  After just 3 weeks of hard work it was finally finished.  We all have our own space.  I have my buiness, Brett's Man Cave, and the girls toy room.  It worked out for everyone.  Here are before and after pics.
